			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The city of <strong><a href="http://www.tourismporbandar.org">Porbandar </a></strong>in <strong><a href="http://www.tourismvadodara.org">Gujarat </a></strong>State in India has lot of historical importance as <a href="http://www.tourismporbandar.org"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-176" style="padding-left: 13px;" title="BharatMandir" src="http://www.tourismporbandar.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/BharatMandir.jpeg" alt="" width="120" height="160" /></a>the father of the nation, <strong>Mahatma Gandhi</strong> was born here at <strong><a href="http://www.tourismporbandar.org">Porbandar</a></strong>. <strong>Porbandar </strong>has also become a popular tourists spot due to the presence of the open and beautiful <strong>Arabian Sea</strong>. <strong>Porbandar </strong>was a big port in the ancient times and had lot of commercial importance. We had an opportunity to visit this beautiful city of <strong>Porbandar </strong>in last January during our visit to India as my father in law stays at <strong><a href="http://www.tourismporbandar.org">Porbandar</a></strong>.</p>

                                      </strong> The large Bharat Mandir hall is in a charming irrigated garden opposite the planetarium. On the floor inside is a huge relief map of India and the building&#8217;s pillars are brilliantly painted with bas-reliefs of over 100 religious figures and legendary persons from Hindu epics. The verandah&#8217;s six distorting mirrors are popular with children. </p>
